부산, 대만, 싱가포르를 거쳐 미얀마 일본군‘위안부’ 수용소로 보내진 후,
연합군과 중국군에게 붙잡힌 여성들은 포로가 되어 심문을 받는다.

Synopsis

Hidden truths behind distorted records.

The name that knows everything: “KOKO SUNYI” In 1942, under the Korean Governor-General’s Office, women were recruited under the pretense of employment to care for wounded soldiers. They were sent from Busan to Taiwan, Singapore, and eventually to a Japanese military “comfort women” camp in Myanmar. By 1944, the captured women became prisoners of war, interrogated without interpreters. Among the 20 women, only one, “KOKO SUNYI,” left a trace — the film follows her story to uncover the hidden truth behind distorted historical records.
