The late Kim Wei-Han's "49 jae." *note: the "49 jae" is a Korean funeral rite. In Korean funereal culture, the spirit is believed to remain in this world for 49 days (7 weeks) after their day of passing. The "49 jae" is a kind of "threshold" day where those mourning the deceased send the spirit off into the next world.
