Most comfort women at the House of Sharing are doing their part and living diligently. However, she often talks negative of the House of Sharing. She is looking for an apartment as if she’s going to leave the House of Sharing sometime soon, and she thinks this process is going on in “down low.” But where is she going to find a place like the House of Sharing? We wonder when she’s going to appreciate the happiness she earns from living with others who truly care about her.

She is the person who surprises us by shouting when I thought that we were very close to each other. When I forgot to put the chair back into the table after lunch in a hurry , she says, “Look at the chair over there. You should put it back where it was!” It seems like it could be a little mistake that she could understand, but it still was my mistake. She is a person who knows how to tell good from evil.

She is always positive. She is the only person who laughs all the time so happily. After she was discharged from the hospital, she takes care of her health. She takes her health even more seriously since she was dianogsed with serious osteoporosis. She is currently going through hormone therapy and physical therapy.

She was mentally hurt deeply by the recent disconnection from her family. When she was hospitalized to have her appendix removaed, her only daughter somehow stopped visiting her. Even though she is hard of hearing, she tries hard to get a hold of her family, but she has no luck. After the discharge from the hospital, she quit smoking and she tries hard to have regular meals. When she is feeling well, she laughs and talks a lot. She likes to take care of others. She is taking drugs for tympanitis since she is too old to have an operation.

Unlike other comfort women living at the House of Sharing, she has a very happy family, and therefore she is mentally stable. We have a concern over her smoking habit, but she says cigarettes are the medicine that can heal things. Even though she has arthritis, her health is generally good.

She always tries hard to be more positive and charming. She has an attitude that respects others and their opinions. However, she has self-attachment so she doesn’t have anyone at the House of Sharing that she shares everything with. She often goes out on her own. She is very interested in current news, and whenever she doesn’t agree with something, she gets very negative towards it. But she has an extrordinary ability to take control of herself, so she tries her best to live happily and comfortably.

She spends a lot of time praying since she’s a type of person who wants to relax and cope with the changes slowly. Even though she doesn’t express her feelings, she seems like she’s very lonely and is very worried about the family she left behind in China. Her recent surgeries for arthritis went well, so she is relatively healthy.

She is always immersed in thinking of her family and gets home sickness regularly. She is a perfectionist and also is very stubborn about it. She is very sensitive mentally. She believes the only person she can talk to is Kang, Il-Chul and she doesn’t talk to anyone else at all. She likes coffee, and she does fortune telling with playing cards, and checks on everyone’s life based on the cards. She often gets a headache and gas due to her sensitivity, but she controls herself with drugs and proper sleep. She dislikes going outside or moving around and it concerns us very much.

She has a thirst for affection. Even if someone’s right next to her, she likes to lean on the person and get even closer. She is very open about everything to Bae, Choon-Hee who lives next door. Usually she is mentally stable, but when she gets jealous or is grumbling, she is quite scarry. If she gets a praisal, she participates in different events, and also she doesn’t miss “Wednesday Protest” unless she is sick. She has high blood pressure, conspitation and arthritis, but she is dealing well with her health by taking drugs. She enjoys every meal but since she doesn’t like to move around so much, she enjoys laying down.
